The Swedish startup Kit is rethinking analytics for a broader view of what makes a story successful

Swedish news startup Kit has its writers fill out extensive meta data for each story they publish, including 145 different classifications covering elements including the story’s tone, editorial intent and more. The organization also collects more than 200 different data points per story in terms of user analytics, with the goal of creating Kit Core, “a taxonomy for editorial content and a more holistic overview of what makes a story successful.”
