Celebrating Nonprofit Technology: From Modem to Mobile
We were delighted to be a part of this special event with some of the initial funders and strategists behind the creation of the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN), just before the 2014 Nonprofit Technology Conference (March 13-15) in Washington, D.C.
We partied like it was 1999, when several key funders came together to make the grants to create NTEN. The celebration marked NTEN’s beginning and evolution, and was specifically for all those who helped support and develop its work. As we highlighted NTEN’s past, we also discussed the evolving power of technology in meeting funders’ missions, as well as philanthropy’s role in supporting nonprofit technology use and growth.
