This is an online program.

This is a funder-only webinar.

With the rapidly changing situation regarding COVID-19, we will be postponing our webinar on the latest in health journalism funding, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, at 12-1 p.m. ET.

We’ll look to reschedule the meeting soon, once the urgency of the virus settles.

With the growing concern about the spread of coronavirus around the world, and with the increasing interest in health and health policy in our presidential debates, we’re focusing our next Journalism Funders webinar on some developments in philanthropic support for health journalism.
We’ll hear from:
  • David Rousseau, Vice President for Media and Technology at the Kaiser Family Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Media Impact Funders, who will moderate the discussion and share some insight into Kaiser’s support of podcasts focusing on health
  • Dan Gorenstein, Executive Producer and Co-Host of the health podcast Tradeoffs, which focuses on stories at the intersection of health care, policy and people
  • Caitlin Ellis, Program Manager at the National Institute for Health Care Management (NIHCM) Foundation, will talk about the foundation’s support of health journalism training
  • Mary Lou Fulton, Program Director, California Endowment, will share lessons learned from her experience as a longtime health funder

Please note: This is a funder-only webinar.
