How Electionland, NYT bots engaged audiences around voting

Electionland, an initiative that included more than 1,100 people from 250 news organizations, 13 journalism schools and a pop-up newsroom, investigated voting problems across the country and in real-time. There were no formal agreements for how the collaboration would work—yet in turned out to be a very successful investigation, with different partner organizations lending their expertise to relevant aspects of the project.
