Zoom Meeting

This is an invitation-only meeting.

Threats to press freedom, issues of safety and security, and issues of malicious and rampant disinformation are of serious and urgent concern to funders of international journalism and media—and attention to these issues among funders has been building over time. In response, Media Impact Funders has dedicated more research and field-building activities to grow knowledge and catalyze deeper conversations among funders.

Through a series of curated and peer-to-peer networking programs planned and facilitated by MIF, members of this network will explore issues and opportunities in the international journalism funding field. Our intention is to create space for funders to engage with each other, learn from one another, and find common points of entry into their work.

Given the strong response to our first meeting of the international journalism funders network – and the fact that we barely had enough time to hear introductions from all participants – we would like to offer another opportunity for those invited to get together for a continuation of this discussion on Wednesday, August 18 from 1pm to 2pm ET.
If you are inteterested in joining this network meeting, please contact Sabira DePiero.
