The Online News Association (ONA) will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in New Orleans. ONA19 will bring together some of the most innovative minds in digital media, including journalists, media executives, product teams, entrepreneurs and educators.

You’ll have the chance to learn and network with ONA’s diverse and creative community, which ranges from experienced veterans at international news outlets to representatives from major tech companies to those just getting started in their media careers.

Join MIF for a funder gathering
On Thursday, Sept. 12, the opening night of the conference, we’re hosting our annual funder gathering at the Intercontinental Hotel’s Marigny Atrium. We invite you to join your peers in person for some refreshments, good conversations and brief presentations.

We’ll hear from the Walton Family Foundation about their support for environmental journalism in the region including Coastal Watch, a collaborative project with The Times-Picayune | The New Orleans Advocate.  We’ll also hear about a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion collaborative fund created by a few of your colleagues.

Don’t miss this important event to network with your fellow funder colleagues and learn about these great projects.
