This is for funders interested in journalism grantmaking.
We remain committed to hosting monthly calls for funders who currently support or who are interested in supporting journalism.
We’re tweaking the format of these calls to promote more knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer discussion. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we hosted several calls using this format, and we find it to be an effective way to stay connected over Zoom.
These conversations are meant to serve as an opportunity for you to share what your organization is doing, learn about collaborative efforts from your peers, and stay connected to what’s happening in the field. If you’d like to share an update on your work or want to bounce an idea off your colleagues, let us know. Email MIF program consultant Roshni Melia at email@example.com.
Given the holidays, several participants from the November call suggested we move the meeting up to avoid the holiday week. As such, we are shifting it to Monday, Dec. 14 and shortening it to 30 minutes for a quick check-in before the holidays. We’ll resume the full-hour calls in January.
Please note: We are setting this up as a recurring meeting, which means you only need to register once. You do not need to register for each individual meeting.
Once you register for one meeting, we’ll send you a calendar request for all the scheduled monthly calls. See below for the scheduled dates.
