Media Impact Funders is offering a special preview of Knight Foundation’s 2022 Knight Media Forum, the premier gathering of leaders in philanthropy, journalism and technology working to strengthen local news, communities and democracy. This meeting provides a chance for those attending (or for those who can’t make it but still want to learn more) to hear a sneak peak of what will be discussed.
We’ll also hear from Tracy Brown, WBEZ’s Chief Content Officer, about the recent merger/acquisition between WBEZ and The Chicago Sun-Times. You’ll get the scoop on how it came to be, goals for the merger, and what this means for local journalism in Chicago.
At this meeting, we’ll also make space for you to connect with your peers, hear about your 2022 priorities, share some lessons learned from last year and talk about anything that’s on your mind.
