A Toolkit for Inclusion & Accessibility
Created in conjunction with the release of “Crip Camp”, this toolkit both confronts ableism both in front of and behind the camera and offers actionable steps on how to think differently about the work of filmmaking when it comes to accessibility. Offering ideas on collaboration, authentic empowerment, and hosting more inclusive events the toolkit is a starting place to change habits around accessibility.
It is important to note that this toolkit is a starting place for this work and is not an exhaustive list of possible options, nor does it reflect existing legal requirements.
Use This Guide to:
- Think about how to implement accessibility requirements in production grants
- Analyze internal practices around content production
- Identify collaborators who can offer further guidance and services for inclusion and accessibility
