Well, Sundance is over, and we missed seeing you in person this year. (Perhaps we can all agree that viewing Sundance on a giant flatscreen right at home was definitely not a bad way to experience Sundance.) However, we had a great online meeting with you all last month, and we were grateful to be able to connect with you, hear about your 2021 priorities, and talk to two wonderful filmmakers about their Sundance films.
Now, of course, we’re wondering what films you saw during the festival. What’d you like? We’d love to get the gang back together and chat about what we each experienced at Sundance. Not only that, we’d love to know which films you supported, at what stage you supported them (recognizing that funders come in at different phases of the work), and what your outreach plans are for them. We’re interested in staying up to date on the work you’re doing, and discussing how philanthropy can move the impact outreach forward.
We realized that while our pre-Sundance meeting is important for sharing priorities and taking the time to connect with old and new friends alike, we don’t typically build in time to reflect on the film festival as a group. Well, we’re making space for it now. We hope you’ll join us for what should be a lively discussion about all of this fantastic new content!
