The National Geographic Storytellers Summit brings together inspirational and influential photographers, writers, filmmakers, illustrators and journalists to celebrate the art of storytelling and its ability to connect us and inspire change. The next Storytellers Summit will take place Jan. 13-17, 2020, in Washington, D.C.
In collaboration with the National Geographic Society, Media Impact Funders will convene a pre-conference gathering for funders from 9-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the National Geographic Society, Hubbard Hall, 1600 M St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20036.
This meeting provides a special opportunity to connect with peers and engage in an intimate discussion with three dynamic National Geographic storytellers: Pete Muller (bottom left), Photographer, Multimedia Reporter and National Geographic Fellow; Evgenia Arbugaeva (center), Photographer and National Geographic Fellow; and Erik Vance (right), Science Journalist and National Geographic Grantee.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

This event registers you for the National Geographic Storytellers Summit, and there is no cost to attend. The Storytelling Symposium starts Wednesday, Jan. 15, after our meeting. The Photography Seminar takes place Thursday, Jan. 16.
