Color Congress is an ecosystem-builder serving organizations led by people of color that support nonfiction filmmakers, leaders, and audiences of color across the US. Based on surveys and research with Color Congress member organizations, this report provides a comprehensive landscape of the documentary ecosystem for people of color and the disparities that exist within the independent film sector.

The report also features an analysis of funding patterns to documentary organizations led by people of color and offers recommendations for where funders can and should increase their support.
